If you mean it doesn't work past 101 days, yeah, I'm not surprised. The game's meant to only last one hundred days, so it's not really programmed to push past that point. You may be able to get around this by sleeping at Guy's house instead each night, if you really want to keep going. (Though 100 days is probably enough time to see everything there is to see in this build.)
Hey sexums I know you are all but finished with soo cubus, but slimy ending 2 never got fixed, it seems like no matter how you start the game, even with slimy ending equipped, you always drop at the tentacle fight

Are you going to release a walkthrough or kind of a wiki someday? I played the game several times and I still think I have missed a lot of stuff. And I always got the bad end. So I wonder how to unlock every content.
Also is there any point continuing past the 100 days? Can you still unlock things? Didn't explored the sewers a lot either because it's kinda harsh to lose stats everytime...
I'll probably leave that stuff to someone else. There also aren't any endings besides bad endings just yet. The content's still coming. You're only able to go past 100 days because people kept complaining that they couldn't go past 100 days. Everything that's in the game can probably be found by day 60 or 70 or so.
There's a bug, where if you hit the "Rules" button after the result of a horse race you can basically retry for free, should probably grey that button out as well.

I haven't worked that hard on balancing Hard Mode yet, so I wouldn't worry too much about 'beating' it. Surviving 'til day 75 so you can unlock the special area is the real trick. I suggest just focusing on a single location you can reliably farm for money, boost your Charisma early, and just weather the experience until you get to day 75.
After that... yeah. I dunno. Balancing Hard Mode is less of a priority for me right now until I've finished up with the rest of the game.
Well, surviving is exactly the problem since you can't really level up both strenght and charisma, so you end up without money after jobs and you are forced to sleep with owner, thus sometimes leveling down strenght making it even worse
Spend your first day betting 500 on one of the horse races. Reload til you win. The higher the tier your willing to wait for a win on the better. I know it's effectively cheating, but I mean hard mode is cheating too so... It gets you enough money to grab some stats early on and get ahead of the curve.
My suggestion is to actually get a few points in intelligence early. That little extra bit of luck goes a long way to massively improving your odds of surviving in any game.
WOW This game is fucking great!!! I accidentally my whole morning before work trying to find all the scenes, and forgot to shower and eat!
Plenty of assets so that the player doesn't lose attention and wants to keep on playing to find the rest, the artist of this game is great and understands that assets makes up the game throws plenty of them in not being lazy, though that also has to do with the great design of the game too!
Then the game play its like the regular datting sims game where you boost your stats, but the reason it works out so well for this game is that it gives you what the audience want from the get go, THE SEX, so instead of a chore it feels like your getting some where, since you can possible increase your stats from doing them, *jump to the next paragraph for my digression on the stats system* so Whatever you click has and impact on the overall game play weather its getting more money or stats that lead to you getting more money or unlocking a character's sequence route. It all feels great and no fluff that makes me feel like i'm wasting my time! Once again great design.
*That's why INT is one of the most OP thing in this game since it'll let you gain stats with money and a ton of other bonuses, and CHR is really great too since you can get more money to buy more stats and items to get scenes, but sadly the youngest and weakest brother of the stats trio is ironically STR since he literately has now use, in battles your INT can do more damage and since the INT has way more benefits, and the limited time frame the most ideal strat is to max INT then CHR, I had negative STR one run and over 100 for the other two stats and it didn't do anything to hinder me. STR supposed to be the better alternative to INT in battles, but the benefits from INT and CHR far out weigh anything that STR could provide(killed BIG D with just CHR and INT). I know that STR was supposed to help out with making sure you got paid while in the streets, but once you unlock the other sex options, you'll never screwed unless grandma muscles her way past you, or you get showed up in the strip club. But once again with a high enough INT you can bypass those unlucky events by getting the better one. So while the INT and CHR are over powered STR is really lacking and will only serve to make first runners feel kinda mad that they wasted a run with a stat they that's way worse then the others. So the options to fix this is 1)make those annoying events more often to make STR more important, but that only going to piss people off since they feel like they are getting screwed horribly arbitrarily. 2)Remove STR sorry boy you don't really have a place here, but it'd be kinda hard to re do the events that rely on getting STR. 3)I think the best solution is to somehow revamp the the hobo fighting to be a bit different or maybe the battle system to be bit different where INT doesnt over shadow it.... hmmm I still don't feel like this is a good situation I feel really bad for STR he has his place for unlocking events, but he really doesn't fit in anywhere else when his older siblings INT and CHR out shine him so much I don't know man STR really needs some love!!! buff him up or something ;w;
Sorry for the long tangent on the three stat siblings, back to the thing i was writing, where was I? Art assets are plentiful and well used, the game play is streamed line and efficient (Oh yeah could you add a hot key or something are an event because having to click it at the top right corner of the screen about 500+ times in a single run is really going to hurt whatever people plays these for hours on end's wrists, or to place it close to the middle of the screen maybe?), OH yeah the story!
The Over arching story is simple enough find the keys go up the tower become the kings top bitch! no need for drama or complicated story where doesn't need to be, on the other hand the characters that have the keys and that your supposed to interact with to progress the story are great, unlike other games of the same vein where they tell you some superficial detail about themselves which you are supposed to remember or write down to latter get her love metter up when they ask you latter. this forgoes that and has some light hearted talks and animations are Soo and the characters getting along as friends, before they start having sex. OMG those cute animations of playing video games with guy, or riding on Joe, and and nerf gun matches, I think those were the favorite parts of the game since they gave me such cuteness in a game full of sex, it was awesome, and really did make me care about the characters in a way where I really did feel bad when *spoiler* it the character really make the game and the brevity of there talks which don't go one for pages helps in not making the writing annoying, when all people want are to raise their stats and get scenes. AGAIN EXCELLENT DESIGN!!!!!!!!1

BUG reports: 1)So if you click to fast the game will accept the click, example you double click the gym really fast, if will take 2 stamina, and 200$ and probably give you 2 STR(poor guy no one loves him) but if it wasn't the players intention and they where trying to budget money in the beginning of the game it might be a bit annoying. But it really breaks the game in battle, since if you click fast enough on the attack buttons you can make the inputs keep on going even after you've won(in which the enemy will also return the hits, and you could end up dying even after winning) or the opposite you kill the enemy because you keep attacking after you died, so you end up both winning and losing which uhhhhh breaks the game and therefore a bug. 2) just a minor(") I was stocking up INT and CHR for the battle again the BIG D and and save up like 50k$ and bought a shit ton of note pads and i think I over flowed the value are going beyond 256 or something because it rolled back the INT stat to 60 when it was over 150 before i bought all the note pads. Or maybe its a problem with buying a ton of notepad and the CHR perma boosting item at once, but yeah that exists.

- I've struggled with STR for a while now. I'm considering either doubling its power in fights or somehow tying it to your daily Stamina, though I'm still on the fence about both. Hopefully I can find a good balance for it before the game leaves pre-alpha status. (Though to be honest I think it's going to be pre-alpha up until it's just done, so... meh. Naming conventions.)
- I use the double clicking thing quite often to speed up stat allocation, actually. I will disable the buttons after a single click eventually. Another thing to add to the list.
- Same goes for the combat buttons. If I remember correctly there's one battle that I programmed differently where you absolutely can't keep clicking the buttons after a single hit, though I'll be damned if I remember which one off the top of my head. Eventually I'll rejig all of the fights so the buttons are disabled completely.
- That's... weird. Not sure how that would happen - when I test I just set Soo's stats to 300 or more apiece so I can speed through the game, so rollover shouldn't be an issue. I'll look into it.
Not sure if this a bug or just me getting really unlucky but if you pick Charm as your starting power can you not screw people in prison? I've tried it with STR and INT and you can hook the other prisoners just fine but CHM always seems to have Officer Su watching, which in turn ends up completely screwing me up to the point I simply can't make enough money pay rent. I've had my stats run into the negative because of it. Do I just suck really bad or is this some sort of balance issue that needs to be addressed? I played this game repeatedly and not only never beat but never even got my stats up to a third of what other people are talking about.
It'd be great if you could randomize the sex scenes a bit at higher CHA. It's a bit boring seeing the same ones every time, even if they are the "best" ones. Aside from that, keep up the great work.

Hey! Love the game! But on the new build I have a problem, after I fought lil D I was down to 50 charisma and it continued to be 50 on the next fight which I of course lost. Now I started a new game and I just had a fight with the frog landlord monter thing and I was down to 6 Charisma and when I wanted to continue playing I was stuck at that number! Is that intentional or is it a bug? Much love :D
Nice game. Played it multiple times. Ass of this time I was able to unlock the time-limit, wedding, tranformed-into-landlord, tentacle and new-demon-lord endings. But as of now, I am unable to continue due to the game not loading. Dropbox download is also down. Also can you give hints on what to on date for each lover.
It's possible to use cheat engine in this game? I really like to play, but doing the same things over and over again is boring. Having a good a mount of gold will be helpful.

hi sexum, im quite new to game development and really want to make a game similar to yours but with a completely different concept, could you point me in the the right direction please :D
i would like my game to focus on similar ideas of yours like
- pixel art - Stat building - sex animations - random events to benefit or impair my character(s)
but mainly be based around my unique story and turn based fighting with opponents or reasoning through multiple dialogue options.
Sounds like a plan. Insofar as game development is concerned:
- I do my pixel art in a program called GraphicsGale. There are plenty of other alternatives if you don't like, it as well. As far as I know you can even set up things like PhotoShop or GIMP to do pixel art, but I've never bothered. If you've never worked in pixel art there are plenty of tutorials out there, but I learned the most just by pulling up sprite sheets for other games and studying up on how they do poses.
- As for the actual game dev, I make my games in a program called Stencyl. It's a good but somewhat limiting program. I would suggest picking a popular game making set of software - Unity's quite popular right now, and I want to branch into it - and just learning how it works, making simple games until you feel ready to tackle something big. If you don't have the time / interest in learning a full language, programs like Stencyl, GameMaker, and Construct can do the trick, though again, they wind up being limited compared to just flat out learning a language.
- The only other outside skill you might need is music / sound development, which is where I currently fall short most of the time. If you want to make your own music you'll need a program like FL Studios; if not you can either get royalty-free tracks or pay someone to create music specifically for you. So goes for sound effects. I'm likely going to wind up paying someone to make unique sexy sounds for me in the future rather than using stock stuff you can find online.
Yep. There's no one good source for figuring out how to make a game. Just start planning it out in a text editor and you'll quickly get a sense of what all you're going to need to make it happen. Good luck to you - it's a long, difficult process, but a lot of fun as well.
So how do you get the gallery(s)? I know it's supposed to be a second slimy ending, but each time I use the tentacle spray the monster goes away and I go to hell with Big D, please help, I wanna see the gallery XD
a small bug I've noticed is that sometimes when doing the stripper job and getting the tit shaking animation the background will load up fine but soo won't be there (i don't know the controlling factors, sorry)
Hey guys, does anyone know if there's a problem with the second slimy ending? Is there a glitch? Or are there other requirements besides having the anti-squid perk?
I can't seem to trigger the tentacle boss.
I've seen people mention this a bunch of different places, but I haven't seen an answer on it.
I don't know full requirements, but I know that one of the other requirements are to win the fight in which you get 6 keys and visit the king as well as anti-squid perk.
Current version (4.0) has an error where, if you go to the tower at any point, it's convinced you have 6+ keys, no matter how many you actually have. You can't get any of the other tower endings as a consequence, and a lot of the game feels pretty pointless.
Pretty easy to reproduce: just start a new game, hit the tower for its opening cutscene, and then go straight back. The Proceed button will get you straight to the battle with Little D.
many times I messed up the preservation and wanted to start a new one without losing the result the only way is the ending It takes a very long time to waste
i think its a bug where i pick the right choices when going on a date with sid when i tried to make a <3 choice, i kept clicking on it and it wont continue the dialogue weirdly

Delete- I've struggled with STR for a while now. I'm considering either doubling its power in fights or somehow tying it to your daily Stamina, though I'm still on the fence about both. Hopefully I can find a good balance for it before the game leaves pre-alpha status. (Though to be honest I think it's going to be pre-alpha up until it's just done, so... meh. Naming conventions.)
- I use the double clicking thing quite often to speed up stat allocation, actually. I will disable the buttons after a single click eventually. Another thing to add to the list.
- Same goes for the combat buttons. If I remember correctly there's one battle that I programmed differently where you absolutely can't keep clicking the buttons after a single hit, though I'll be damned if I remember which one off the top of my head. Eventually I'll rejig all of the fights so the buttons are disabled completely.
- That's... weird. Not sure how that would happen - when I test I just set Soo's stats to 300 or more apiece so I can speed through the game, so rollover shouldn't be an issue. I'll look into it.

ReplyDeleteNot sure if this a bug or just me getting really unlucky but if you pick Charm as your starting power can you not screw people in prison? I've tried it with STR and INT and you can hook the other prisoners just fine but CHM always seems to have Officer Su watching, which in turn ends up completely screwing me up to the point I simply can't make enough money pay rent. I've had my stats run into the negative because of it. Do I just suck really bad or is this some sort of balance issue that needs to be addressed? I played this game repeatedly and not only never beat but never even got my stats up to a third of what other people are talking about.
ReplyDeleteIt'd be great if you could randomize the sex scenes a bit at higher CHA. It's a bit boring seeing the same ones every time, even if they are the "best" ones. Aside from that, keep up the great work.

ReplyDeleteHey! Love the game! But on the new build I have a problem, after I fought lil D I was down to 50 charisma and it continued to be 50 on the next fight which I of course lost. Now I started a new game and I just had a fight with the frog landlord monter thing and I was down to 6 Charisma and when I wanted to continue playing I was stuck at that number! Is that intentional or is it a bug?

Nice game. Played it multiple times. Ass of this time I was able to unlock the time-limit, wedding, tranformed-into-landlord, tentacle and new-demon-lord endings. But as of now, I am unable to continue due to the game not loading. Dropbox download is also down. Also can you give hints on what to on date for each lover.

Sounds like a plan. Insofar as game development is concerned:
Delete- I do my pixel art in a program called GraphicsGale. There are plenty of other alternatives if you don't like, it as well. As far as I know you can even set up things like PhotoShop or GIMP to do pixel art, but I've never bothered. If you've never worked in pixel art there are plenty of tutorials out there, but I learned the most just by pulling up sprite sheets for other games and studying up on how they do poses.
- As for the actual game dev, I make my games in a program called Stencyl. It's a good but somewhat limiting program. I would suggest picking a popular game making set of software - Unity's quite popular right now, and I want to branch into it - and just learning how it works, making simple games until you feel ready to tackle something big. If you don't have the time / interest in learning a full language, programs like Stencyl, GameMaker, and Construct can do the trick, though again, they wind up being limited compared to just flat out learning a language.
- The only other outside skill you might need is music / sound development, which is where I currently fall short most of the time. If you want to make your own music you'll need a program like FL Studios; if not you can either get royalty-free tracks or pay someone to create music specifically for you. So goes for sound effects. I'm likely going to wind up paying someone to make unique sexy sounds for me in the future rather than using stock stuff you can find online.
Yep. There's no one good source for figuring out how to make a game. Just start planning it out in a text editor and you'll quickly get a sense of what all you're going to need to make it happen. Good luck to you - it's a long, difficult process, but a lot of fun as well.
So how do you get the gallery(s)? I know it's supposed to be a second slimy ending, but each time I use the tentacle spray the monster goes away and I go to hell with Big D, please help, I wanna see the gallery XD

I don't know full requirements, but I know that one of the other requirements are to win the fight in which you get 6 keys and visit the king as well as anti-squid perk.

ReplyDeleteCurrent version (4.0) has an error where, if you go to the tower at any point, it's convinced you have 6+ keys, no matter how many you actually have. You can't get any of the other tower endings as a consequence, and a lot of the game feels pretty pointless.
ReplyDeletePretty easy to reproduce: just start a new game, hit the tower for its opening cutscene, and then go straight back. The Proceed button will get you straight to the battle with Little D.
